A soprano singer, Fridal made her professional debut as Lily in a production of the opera "Porgy and Bess" at the Glyndbourne Festival Opera in Sussex, England. Fridal is the first known opera singer to perform operatic versions of calypsoes, and her interpretation of Lord Kitchener's calypsoes "Symphony in G" and "The Carnival Is Over" has thrilled audiences around the world. Fridal has performed  in England, Trinidad & Tobago, the USA, Australia, Austria, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Wales.
